Success Story: Liepold Farms, Oregon Berry Farm
Challenge: Though Liepold has been established for over fifty years, the new and third generation, would like to have more of a corporate feel to their logo and marketing pieces. They would like to increase deliveries to local restaurants and increase overall awareness.
Strategy: ID Graphics designed a logo with Mt. Hood and the farm in-between. The identity continued through other marekting pieces including a unique tri-fold brochure and hot sheet with pictures, history, berry descriptions and other interesting facts that the restaurants and customers would enjoy reading.
Results: In conversations, we shared ideas on how to take the farm to the restaurants and form partnerships with cities. Within one year, Liepold Farms has a full-time delivery van making rounds to restaurants 7 days a week in the summer! The brochure helped them gain BurgerVille as a new client in 2004. By 2005, Liepold’s was instrumental in starting many Farmer’s Markets. For a business that is over fifty years old, sales and overall awareness are up!
