Challenge: Product samples sent in plastic bags are often misplaced by customers, thus orders are lost.
Strategy: Fer and Kirsten Klug suggested developing a custom package that includes products and a brochure about the products, an all-in-one package. A colorful brochure was designed featuring all product families with specifications, pricing and ordering information. The brochure was designed to fit inside the custom designed box with slits to feature and protect products in shipping and displaying.
Results: Orders and sales are up! Thanks to the new product packaging, Brooklyn Hardware has built a more profitable, steady stream of customers through its distributors. Brooklyn Hardware enjoys the simplicity of mailing one box and it has saved in overall promotion costs! Their clients enjoy being able to simply display and show these unique products to their customers.
